Help Us Grow Intergenerational Connection in Aotearoa

Generations Connect NZ is a small, volunteer-led charity creating opportunities for meaningful connection across generations.

This year, we ran our first community programme, Tūhono Tāngata: Connecting People Across Generations. It brought older adults and tamariki together through shared experiences and relationship-building. The programme ran in a local primary school, supported wellbeing, and showed how simple moments can spark lasting connection.

We delivered this on a small budget, with care and commitment. Now, we’re ready to grow. Our vision is to support intergenerational connection not just in schools, but in community spaces across Aotearoa.
