Where does the money go?
Soup for the Soul is supporting the Head and Neck Support Network in 2019. The Network is an incorporated society that provides advocacy, support and connection for any person affected by head and neck cancer at any time.
The Head and Neck Cancer Support Network brings together patients impacted by the visible and emotional effects of their diagnosis and treatment. It helps them to manage their journey. The Network has a website of resources to support patients, and their families/whanau. We help people connect through discussion forums, a Facebook group, and with support groups in various regional hubs.
Chin Up
The Network has a five point plan to help patients keep their Chin Up. We provide patients with booklets to help them manage the effects of the cancer, and inspire them to get on with their lives.
Funds raised through the Soup for the Soul will enable funding for more resources, support groups, a patient conference, and the continuation of our website.
