Heart Kids Taranaki

Heart Kids Taranaki provides financial, practical, and emotional support to 120 Heart Kids and their whanau. Heart Kids have been diagnosed with a congenital heart condition at, or before, birth or develop one during childhood - such as rheumatic fever.

We provide vital support and services right throughout their heart journey. From home and hospital visits, education evenings, CPR training to travel grants and care packs. We also hold fun family events and coffee groups for the families to come together, share experiences and give each other hope.

We are an information gateway for new parents at diagnosis, the dependable shoulder to lean on, or cry on, in tough times and the welcoming smile for a cuppa and a chat any time.

Heart Kids Taranaki is a small charity with a big heart and a big job to do.
