HopeWalk is the fastest growing community-led suicide awareness/prevention movement. Join the movement today.
We empower individuals, families and communities touched by suicide to become the champions of change by giving them a voice through our many projects, campaigns and events around the world.
The movement is led by the people for the people. Starting officially in South Auckland, New Zealand in 2015, but the first 'HopeWalk' event was held on February 2016 which attracted approximately 3000 people touched by suicide. In the first year x11 hope walks were held in NZ, Australia and Canada. In 2017 this has already expanded to 32 HopeWalks in 5 countries around the globe.
HopeWalk hopes to create an environment for people to connect, communicate and care for each other whilst breaking the stigma, silence and shame that society has created around suicide. We hope this will allow individuals, families and communities a place to find wellness and healing.
We also understand the value of working with other like-minded people and groups who desire the same goals in hopes that together we can change things.

HopeWalk Suicide Prevention Movement is a charitable trust with a suicide awareness/prevention events and project like HopeWalk, Lights 4 Lives, Link 4 Life. We are a grassroots movement of hope for those who have been effected by suicide. Working together with other likeminded organisations and community groups to provide a platform for suicide prevention. We value the fact that not one group has the solution, but we are #StrongerTogether #HopeWalk
Use of funds
The fund will go towards: 1. Resources for our "Champions" - who lead HopeWalks around the globe 2. Training for "Champions" and also free community workshops 3. Establishing our Link4Life Family Champions (families mentoring families) 4. Movement Spread - strengthen our established HopeWalks and other projects as well as expanding the HopeWalk movement into America, Asia and the Pacific. 5. HopeHub - a physical space where we can establish and create an office space to administrate.
