We target the 100 babies born in Christchurch each year who are at significant risk of maltreatment because of their life circumstances. We are the only agency in Christchurch working exclusively with such families using internationally recommended interventions. While the numbers appear relatively small, the cost to our society is horrendous.
Our service is relatively unusual in that we have developed a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and service effectiveness. Our ongoing published external evaluations give us confidence that risk of maltreatment towards children is being reduced across several key parental risk areas.

Our very sincere thanks go to Richard Withy Manager of Ray White Harewood who has stepped right out of his comfort zone these last few months both to train and to to take part in Fight for Youth and fundraise on our behalf.? We are so very grateful Richard selected Family Help Trust and so very sad he wasn't a winner in the ring on the night.? He's very much a winner to us and it was a great night.? Our staff who attended loved the event
