JustSpeak is an NGO based in Pōneke Wellington. We advocate for transformative change in the criminal justice system.
JustSpeak represents the youth and rangatahi voice in the criminal justice conversation and at the decision-making table.
We are positive, active and informed. Too many criminal justice conversations are reactionary and polarised. We encourage an open-minded and informed discussion.
We are inclusive. Many people are not heard on important decisions in the criminal justice sector, especially those most directly affected. We welcome everyone and actively encourage individuals and communities to join our waka.
JustSpeak represents the youth and rangatahi voice in the criminal justice conversation and at the decision-making table. We encourage open-minded discussion based on evidence and research, and we prioritise listening to people with lived experience of the criminal justice system, as we believe those most affected know what would be most helpful to grow thriving communities.
