We are a NFP community group who organise events at Kahurangi School, including Kotahi Music Festival

Kahurangi Friends are dedicated supporters of Kahurangi School. A community-connected primary school that hosts events and activities for us all to share.

Kahurangi Friends is a Incorporated Society and Registered Charity. Our purpose is to provide educational, recreational, cultural, and social experience, resources and/or facilities for the benefit of student and families of Kahurangi School and the wider community of Strathmore Park, Wellington . We strive to strengthen Kahurangi School’s visibility and positive reputation by promoting the school and supporting community engagement.

A key event is our Kotahi music festival, an annual all ages free music concert held on Waitangi Day in the natural amphitheatre at Kahurangi School in Wellington. Covid-19 has made it a difficult year for our community to be together so this year we present Kotahi Online! We’re grateful that we can go ahead with Kotahi and make it an accessible event for all.
