LIFT delivers youth employment, the vision being 100% youth employment for the Hawke's Bay region. Through the enterprise, job seeking unemployed young people (16 to 24 years) will be offered an employment opportunity which leads to a sustainable and fulfilling career.

Establishment of LIFT has been a direct response to issues identified through our engagement with young people, parents, whanau, communities, service providers, tertiary and secondary education/training sector and employers in Hawke’s Bay. Doing things differently to support young people into fulfilling sustainable employment or entrepreneurship is critical.

LIFT provides work-readiness, resources, tools, training, work experience and pastoral support. Activities and services are also provided to employers in our region, creating wrap-around pastoral care and pathways to transition young people into employment.
