Nationwide
Lions Clubs was started in 1917, and came to New Zealand in the 50's. The members of Lions are groups of ordinary men and women that volunteer in their local communities through community based projects, fundraisers, skilled help, and medical research.
Lions Clubs focus is to provide disaster relief, support the prevention of hunger, conduct research to support children with cancer, help people see through our sight programs, and assist in the fight to find a cure for T1 Diabetes.
Our Charitable Trust provides assistance to our Youth through the support of Lions Clubs Youth programs.
Lions Clubs New Zealand is a Community Service Organisation which has over 10,000 Volunteers that help communities all over New Zealand.
Lions Clubs cover 6 main focuses: Sight, Hunger & Poverty, Diabetes, Paediatric Cancer, Youth Development, and Disaster Relief.
Lions Clubs also operate a number of well known New Zealand Charities including: HeadsUp For Kids, CMF (Child Mobility Foundation), Lloyd Morgan Charitable Trust, The Lions Mints Charitable Trust, and LCIF (Lions Clubs International Foundation) for Disaster Relief.
Funds raised will be used to help Lions Clubs grow within New Zealand, helping us to create more clubs that are able to help more New Zealanders and reach parts of the country we are unable to help at the moment.
The more Lions Clubs we can create, the more people we can help.
