Our quality counselling strengthens individuals and families by increasing: resilience, coping skills, sense of belonging, hope, meaning and overall well being. We enable low income & vulnerable community members access to professional affordable care. Clients work at their own pace to achieve their goals. 40% of our clients are male & 23% are Maori
Since 1990 we have seen over 5000 clients! In 2015 we saw 347 clients. Feedback from clients: 100% say they are satisfied or very satisfied with the service; 94 % say they achieved all or most of their goals. 40% of our work is with vulnerable families or youth. Our counsellors are all qualified.

thanks to generous donations from all around the country via trusts, friends, contracts and give a little, we were able to see over 350 people in 2014. 23% of our clients were Maori and 40% male. over 1300 face-to-face counselling hours were delivered to people in our community struggling with life issues.
The primary presenting issue was relationships, stress and anger. Feedback from a male client: "i see things differently now and can move on."
