La Vida Youth Trust aims to empower and develop young people for the future of our community.

We provide programmes for the young people of our community in Upper Riccarton. We work closely with youth from primary school age right through to high school and beyond. Our programmes include La Vida After School Programme and a Breakfast Club. We also employ five 24-7 Youth Workers in two local schools and are involved in numerous community initiatives, such as helping get young people involved in sports and our annual Community Fun Day!

La Vida Youth Trust was established in 2004, after a need for a positive and safe place where young people could spend their time was perceived. Since then we have continued to work in our community by expanding to provide all of our current, well-attended programmes.
