The centre provides a tranquil, relaxing environment for individual or group retreats, plus we offer a regular program of Buddhist teachings and meditations. Visitors are welcome – you do not have to be Buddhist to come to the centre. We rely on our generous and kind supporters to make our courses affordable and to meet our annual costs.

Our purpose is to benefit visitors and the community. We provide mindfulness meditation courses in the community and assistance in the area of drug and alcohol addiction recovery. We offer Buddhist and secular programmes for all ages promoting universal values such as kindness and compassion. Mahamudra regularly offers courses on transforming problems, working with anxiety and depression, dealing with death and dying and other programmes to provide tools for both Buddhists and non-Buddhists to use in daily life to find inner peace and happiness.
