Marlborough Basketball Association has established a Community Fund to help our members participate in basketball activities where they may not have been able to without the help of the Fund.

The Community Fund has been established, and continues, through charitable donations from our community - individuals and business's that want to help our basketballers. These funds are held in a separate bank account and only used to ensure those in need don't miss out from participating in basketball through lack of money.

To be eligible to apply to the Community Fund the applicants must reside in Marlborough and hold a valid Community Services Card.

The majority of the funds are used to help young players participate in local and national trials, age group tournaments and local competitions and coaching programmes. Basketballs, shoes and clothing may also be provided.
