Marlborough Youth Trust (MYT) was established in 2000 to provide services to communities, groups, and individuals that enables, supports and encourages the development and well-being of the young people of Marlborough.
MYT provides a range of events and programmes for youth in Marlborough, including Youth in emergency Services program ,CACTUS youth development Grit & resilience boot camp, as well as youth entertainment and community connection activities such as celebrating Aotearoa Youth week, pink shirt day-anti bullying campaign, Springfest which is facilitating youth music gigs., in the theme of mental awareness week. MYT works with young people to help get their own initiatives up and running. MYT staff are trained youth workers running a youth advisory group, Whanau Ora trained, and offer support within the youth Employability Program. MYT has recently opened a youth development centre and have seen the youth engage and enjoying coming along to MYSPACE as a place they can connect with each other, build confidence and be given opportunities to contribute to the wider Marlborough community- like supporting the Marlborough Foodbank Street Appeal
