The Maungarei Community Christian Trust (MCCT) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2002 to resource individuals and families to improve their situation by providing holistic support for their cultural, economic, physical, social and spiritual needs in a safe and inclusive environment, and in doing so recreate Community in Mt Wellington. It seeks to empower people to recognise their abilities and support them in ways to help them make decisions that improve their futures and those they impact. We desire to see the community of Mt Wellington as a place where no-one is alienated, a place that is safe for all people, a community that accepts and protects all those in it. One of our favourite ways to foster Community is helping bring everyone together in positive ways at least twice each year with our annual free fun community events.
