Making a World of Difference — One Shipment at a Time
Nationwide
Imagine a hospital or medical clinic where something as simple as a box of medical supplies can make the difference between having the equipment needed to treat a patient - or having to go without and the consequences this may mean. For almost 60 years, Medical Aid Abroad has been helping to bridge that gap.
Across New Zealand, medical centres, hospitals, pharmacies, manufacturers and other organisations donate surplus medical supplies, equipment and medicines. Our dedicated volunteers carefully sort, check and catalogue these items before making them available to recognised not-for-profit healthcare organisations in countries where medical resources are often scarce.
What might be surplus here can be invaluable somewhere else. A wheelchair, a box of dressings, surgical equipment or essential medicines can find a new purpose - helping healthcare workers provide care to people who desperately need it.
MAA receives no direct income and relies on the generosity of people such as yourself who believe that healthcare should not depend on where someone happens to live. Your donation helps us continue turning surplus medical supplies into practical help, dignity and hope for many people less fortunate.
Together, we can make sure that useful medical resources don't go to waste but go where they are needed most. Every donation, no matter how small, can help make a difference - one shipment, one clinic and one patient at a time.
Thank you for helping Medical Aid Abroad continue its work.
