Eastland's Motu Trails ( is one of the Great Rides on Nga Haerenga, The New Zealand Cycle Trail. At Motu Trails Charitable Trust, we help manage and promote the trails. We develop free trail brochures, provide free/current trail info online; support governance and maintenance of Motu Trails; drive trail extensions and enhancements; assist trail-related services; and more. Access to Motu Trails is 100% free so if you've used the trails, please consider supporting us.

Motu Trails Charitable Trust has received a number of donations recently from bikepackers aiming to ride the trails this summer. Whether you will be heading east or west, we wish you a brilliant ride. A sincere thank you for your support, it will go towards on-trail stuff which we will share news of.
