Mountains To Sea Wellington Trust

Creating kaitiaki (guardians) for our our rivers, harbours and coasts.

Wellington

We provide inspiring environmental education for young people and their communities across the greater Wellington region.

All money raised goes towards supporting the low-cost delivery of our marine and freshwater programmes in schools, supporting environmental restoration projects and providing community events and opportunities to connect with nature.

More about us

The Mountains To Sea Wellington team inspires young people and their communities to connect and act as kaitiaki (guardians) for their local rivers, harbours and coasts. We provide thousands of school students and community members with education programmes each year in the environment, including the national Experiencing Marine Reserves and Whitebait Connection programmes. We also support a huge range of restoration and community science endeavours.
