    Thanks to all the community support from people like you we made it through 2015 and are looking good for 2016. We have had some very successful fundraisers such as raising over $5000 in our annual appeal in July, The Car Company raised $7150 for us collecting $50 from every car sold in November and much much more.

    We still rely on community support to keep our service running and we would love to expand our services too!

  • Annual Appeal Week

    The week of our Annual Appeal has arrived. We still need collectors for both Friday in Richmond and Saturday in Nelson, email claire@whakaturefuge.org.nz if you can spare an hour and a half.

  • Half way there!

    Following on from our fantastic $20,000 donation on Wednesday last week, we received a $10,000 donation on Friday and were successful in a funding application from Mainland Foundation for $4000. In total have had donations from over 70 generous individuals raising over $40,000 in the last few weeks. Thank you so much for your support. We are not out of the woods yet and require another $40,000 in donations and funding income to keep our doors open. With your support we can do it!

    Thank you so much for all the support since we announced our funding situation yesterday. We have been humbled by the messages and donations. We still really need our community to keep showing support so that we can continue providing our vital services.
