North Taranaki SPCA provides care for over 2000 animals every year.

We rescue animals who have been neglected and abused. We provide a 24 hour animal rescue service. Reunite animals with their owners and find new homes for rehabilitated animals. We attend over 350 after hour emergency call outs each year.

Last year our Inspectors investigated more than 400 cases of animal cruelty and neglect.

North Taranaki SPCA provides care and rehabilitation to almost 2000 animals every year. We give them hope and help them become loved companions.

We promote empathy, the humane treatment of animals and we work hard to prevent cruelty to animals.

We:

•Investigate complaints of animal neglect and cruelty

•Prosecute offenders who neglect or abuse animals

•Teach children and community groups how to care for animals

•Provide a 24 hour 7 day a week animal rescue service

•Provide love care and rehabilitation for animals

•Adopt animals into loving homes
