New Zealand Companion Animal Trust

New Zealand Companion Animal Trust

A gift from you is an act of kindness that will make a positive difference to our projects that support animal welfare in New Zealand.

Nationwide

The trust was set up in 2009 for supporting projects within the field of companion animal welfare and urban animal management. That means the funds raised are used to support projects beneficial to the community - such as neutering & microchipping campaigns; projects that provide care and protection to companion animals - like supporting health care & vaccination programmes for disadvantaged communities; and projects that directly improve companion animal welfare and urban animal management - such as research into how we do things better for our companion animals in all shapes & forms.

Companion Animals Trust is comprised of the following stakeholders:

New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA)

New Zealand Cat Fancy (NZCF)

Companion Animal Veterinarians Branch of The New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA-CAV)

SPCA New Zealand (Royal Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals)

Dogs New Zealand (New Zealand Kennel Club)

Companion Animals New Zealand (CANZ)

The trust has two granting rounds each year and four award categories.
