With our work we aim to break the intergenerational effects of poverty and the issues that arise from it.

We provide a ‘hand-up’ for families through our services which include free home based support for families with complex needs; a wide range of social services including AWHI Housing, parenting programmes and support to suit everyone, including teen parenting, Home Interaction Programme for Parents and Youngsters; Active Families programmes; and Neighbourhood Support, connecting neighbours and building safe, happy, and healthy communities. In addition, we have set up a Covid Response Team to provide food parcels and wrap around services to our communities in these challenging times.

We have been working in Otara since 1998, and have become an integral part of the community because we are of the community.
