Palmy Men exists to ensure men feel seen, heard, valued, and supported—so they can help others do the same.
Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui
Palmy Men is a community-based charitable movement dedicated to strengthening men, supporting families, and building a more connected and resilient Manawatu. Our purpose is to reduce social isolation, promote wellbeing, and empower men to become healthy leaders in their homes and communities.
We provide regular men’s hubs across the city through coffee groups, men’s circles, and community events. These gatherings create safe and welcoming spaces where men can build meaningful friendships, share openly, and grow in emotional strength. Palmy Men encourages men to seek support, develop resilience, and experience healing through connection and reconciliation.
We believe men thrive when they know who they are, what they stand for, and when they are surrounded by a band of brothers who have their back. Through mentorship, positive role modelling, and practical guidance, we help men become better husbands, partners, fathers, and brothers.
Palmy Men also contributes to wider community wellbeing by responding to needs in front of us—supporting individuals and families in hardship, encouraging volunteerism, and strengthening neighbourhood connection. We aim to provide wrap-around support networks that include encouragement, mentoring, and practical help.
We are committed to creating a culture of celebration, where men and families are brought together.
At its heart, Palmy Men exists to ensure men feel seen, heard, valued, and supported—so they can help others do the same.
