ParaFed Canterbury offers a variety of programmes and services to our members including sports programmes, adaptive equipment, sports wheelchairs, and children’s after-school programmes. In addition, we offer a number of non-sports based programmes such as the hydrotherapy pool and taxi fare discounts.

ParaFed Canterbury is one of the leading regional Para sport organisations in New Zealand. Operating since 1967, we offer our members a variety of sports, programmes and services. Our membership focuses on people with physical or visual impairments.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
