We’re behind the family whose new baby is on oxygen, the baby whose having ongoing seizures, Mum & Dad whose baby passed soon after birth, the Mum with severe heart & lung condition, the children with autism, development delays, audio problems, down syndrome, the Dads raising their children single handedly, mums with post natal distress, parents and children having surgery, MRIs, feeding difficulties and needing help with strategies and routines. Mums & children living in unsafe family situations.
Parent Aid has worked in the Central West Auckland area since 2003 working with clients of many ethnicities. Many of our clients are socially isolated without extended whanau support. We receive referrals and work collaboratively with a number of agencies including ADHB hospital Midwives & Social Workers, Plunket, GPs & other community professionals.
We are an accrediated Ministry for Children (Oranga Tamariki) service provider.

Parent Aid has been reaching out to families in the Central West areas of Auckland since 2003.
We offer a free, daytime, short term support service for families with at least one child under the age of 5. We support families with pregnancy, following birth of a child, twins, triplets, accident, stress, Mums with post-natal depression, sickness & isolated families, Mums/Dads parenting alone, families struggling for whatever reason. We impart parenting skills & aim to connect families with other services or agencies in their communities that they might require or find useful. We want to step in before things get dire & children become vulnerable.

Congratulations Parent Aid Central West Auckland Inc 29 January 2014
Voting starts in 1st March 2014. Parent Aid Central West is one of the four groups chosen to be supported through Good in the Hood at Z Mt Albert. That means Parent Aid Central West will receive a share of the money from Z Mt Albert - how much depends on who the customers at Z Mt Albert vote for.
