Charity to establish a National Police Memorial to commemorate those Police staff who have died as a result of their duty.

Police Memorial Trust of New Zealand is a trust that has been established to:
• Fund, coordinate, and develop options and establish and maintain a National New Zealand Police Memorial to commemorate Fallen Police Staff, for the benefit of the community and the community's appreciation of the sacrifice made by the Fallen Police Staff;
• Identify, fund, recognise, and develop those places of historical significance relating to Fallen Police Staff, including but not limited to:
a. undertaking projects relating to monuments, preservation of sites, locating and plotting graves, providing plaques at sites of significance (where appropriate),
b. writing books and articles,
c. giving public lectures,
d. exhibitions, displays, and presentations,
e. purchasing and preserving historic books, documents, archives, and any other relevant historical items for public access and public display where that can be practicably achieved.
A Trust to advance education, awareness and appreciation of Fallen Police Staff and to benefit the community by:
Funding, coordinating and developing options for a national New Zealand Police Memorial to commemorate Fallen Police Staff.
