Re-Source

Re-Source

Through our Partner Network, Re-Source connects quality donated items with the community, to exactly where it is needed.

Hawke's Bay

Like all charities, Re-Source needs funding to operate - vehicles, utilities, wages, storage etc. If you think Hawke's Bay is a better place because of this great little charity, then please consider making a cash donation. You can make a one-off or monthly contribution, either will be greatly appreciated.

Please Support Our Good Work

Each year Aotearoa New Zealand adds an estimated 12.59 million tonnes of waste to landfills. Much of this could be rehomed, reused, and repurposed.

We aim to help change the ‘second-hand’ mindset by focusing on the benefits of a low-emissions circular economy.

We believe that the flow of an item from one person to another not only creates sustained value in the item but also reduces the need to produce new items, therefore conserving precious resources and decreasing landfill waste.

But we can’t do this important work without your support. Please donate. Ngā mihi nui!

*Who we work with*

Everyone in our community plays an important part in what we do and how we do it.

- Donors give us items they’d like rehomed and reused to benefit the community and reduce landfill.

- Funders are organisations and private benefactors who enable us to operate.

- Agencies are organisations that receive donated items for their clients and communities.

- Volunteers support us and deliver on our vision of item redistribution and waste reduction.

- Recipients receive donated items to help support themselves or their organisation, reducing landfill and resource consumption.
