Giving sports gear a second life by passing it on to people in our community who need it most.

We reconnect new and donated sport gear to children, families, schools and community organisations who need a hand to access sport gear of their own. We have 5 iniatives of how we reconnect sport gear, an example is our Boot Connect programme, connecting rugby and football boots around NZ to anyone needing a pair. Connecting sport gear helps participation with sport and being active, and also extends the use of a piece of sport gear instead of it reaching a landfill.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
