For 25 years, the Rites of Passage Foundation has been quietly and steadily holding space for transformation. Thousands of young people, parents, and mentors have crossed meaningful thresholds with our support; through firelight, storytelling, sweat, laughter, tears, and time in the elements.
To celebrate our 25 year anniversary in 2026, we’re launching the 25 for 25 campaign. This is our bold goal to raise $25,000 through 100 people giving just $5 a week for one year.
Our regular donors already play a crucial role in sustaining this work. We would be hard pressed to do what we do for so many without them! Whether you’ve been through a rite yourself, held space as a facilitator, or simply believe in the importance of initiated young people and communities, we invite you to help keep our rites fires burning.
As a small not for profit organisation, we aim to keep programme fees as affordable as possible. Your contribution enables us to focus on what matters most: empowering young people to reach their full potential and become grounded, contributing members of their communities and society.
Rites of passage, practiced for millenia by cultures around the world, mark the transition from one life stage to the next. They offer a map for growth, self-understanding, and connection. These intentional experiences give individuals the opportunity to face challenges, discover their strengths, and celebrate the unique gifts they bring to their community.
For 25 years the Rites of Passage Foundation has been providing conscious, community-led rites of passage programmes that are firmly grounded in nature. Our range of programmes inspire, empower and guide young people and adults through life’s thresholds. Step into the next phase of your life with confidence and clarity.
