  • Spencer has found his home - who's next??

Great news - the lovely Spencer has found his amazing forever home and is living life large :)

We've been assisting LOTS of local people to rehome dogs in the last few months - usually we're focused on pound dogs, but we put our energies wherever they're most needed.

We love being a conduit to creating happy families and memories - but lots of care means lots of money.

All SC dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, registered, wormed, flea'd and medically fit before being homed.

We need your help to ensure all dogs can receive these life changing treatments - please give generously and help us save them!

** Pictured is Scout, a gorgeous young Second Chance lass with a personality that's out of this world! She lives a fabulous life with her new folks and couldn't be happier - we love you Scout! **

I had 2 small dogs I treaured so much. My little girl Mini was treated fkr stomach ulser, a second opinion from another vet informed me it was cancer. She sadly wasput down 2019, she had given up the will . Her mate, a Tibetan Spaniel was my constant companion throughout covid when I was on pandemic leave. He was so laid back, & placid he came to work with (support worker) after lockdown a friend asked me if her nephew could stay, he had a dog. He left the gate open . Dog control rang & told me he’d been hit by a car. At the vets I held him till he passed away. July last year. I’m still greiving for him , dream of him& feel him near me. He’s such a big loss in my life. I can never replace those two dogs, but I do need a compsnion . When a small quiet breed turns up can I please be considered for a dog who will receive lots of love & attention , cheers Ruby

  • Spencer finds a family?

We've had lots of interest in handsome Spencer, current face of our Givealittle page.

He's a BIG lad with a big heart and gentle soul, and now that he's fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, registered and flea'd/wormed, he's fit and ready to go.

All those costs are met by Second Chance so your donations are gratefully accepted!

We're hoping to finalise a trial with a new family shortly and will let you know how he gets on.
