The Shed Project Kapiti

The Shed Project Kapiti

We provide employment and vocational opportunities for local disabled and disadvantaged people on the Kapiti Coast.

Wellington

We are a Kapiti Coast based non-profit that provides employment and vocational opportunities for local disabled and disadvantaged people.

Our focus is not on care, but support - we encourage the people we work with to challenge themselves, develop their skills, and discover what they can really do. The way some of them have simply bloomed in the months we have worked with them is just wonderful.

In 2018 we won the Education & Child/Youth Development category of the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards.

Our sole source of funding is via sales of donated goods, and of wooden goods we manufacture ourselves.

We are located at 20 Tongariro Street, Paraparaumu, which is where we have our op-shop and workshop. We are open weekdays from 9am to 4pm, and weekends 10am to 3pm.

Your donation helps to keep the Shed open, allowing us to continue to help the guys we work with grow into their true full potential.
