Neighbourhoods Clubs

Our primary mission is to prevent drowning and injury! We ensure that our Lifeguards provide the highest quality rescue service to save hundreds and hundreds of people every summer. In addition, we help to build capability in our Clubs and provide surf education to ensure that you are aware of how to keep safe at the beach this summer!

Last summer, our trusted Lifeguards rescued over 640 people and returned them home to loved ones. 34,711 beach goers were removed from danger, 789 first aid treatments administered, 136 searches undertaken and our beach instructors educated 13,000 children in surf safety. This is why Surf Life Saving Northern Region exists - we are of the community, for the community!
