SSAANZ was established at the start of 2018. The mission behind starting a not-for-profit charity is “to change the way ex-service men and women interact with and support each other through outdoor pursuits, adventurous activity, and sporting endeavour. To grow and foster comradeship, friendship, and esprit de Corps of our respective units and the NZDF community as a whole, which recognises our unique bond and rewards those who have served for their sacrifices”.
