Sporting Chance gives disadvantaged children in Otago the chance to take part in sport and get all the benefits that come from it.

Last year, Sport Otago gave out 470 Sporting Chance Grants.
Sporting Chance is our grant that provides financial assistance to disadvantaged children in Otago to take part in sport. It funds participation and will assist with the basic costs of playing a sport.
