For over 25 years, StepsForward has been a beacon of hope for whānau on the Hibiscus Coast. We're more than a charity – we’re a whānau ourselves, walking alongside families through life’s challenges.

Imagine a young mum feeling the weight of the world or a teenager searching for connection. These are the faces of our community, the whānau we’re honored to support.

Our dedicated team of nine, supported by amazing board members, provides wraparound support woven with trauma informed and tikanga Māori – valuing whanaungatanga (relationships), manaakitanga (caring), and kotahitanga (unity). We create safe spaces where whānau can share their stories, rediscover their strength, and build brighter futures.
