Easy access, low fees, a safe environment and a fleet of rental yachts have made the PLSC a popular club for beginners and Sunday sailors alike.
The club is celebrating it's 50th year birthday this year and was nominated in the NZ Herald 2012 as one of the 3 best small sailing clubs in Auckland. It has been the birthplace to some great NZ sailors: Paul Scoffin, Grant Spanhake and Brad Butterworth and who knows you or one of your children can be next.
