A History in Stitch is a project initiated and developed by The Tapestry Trust of New Zealand Inc. to stitch about one hundred panels depicting the history of Aotearoa. Members of the Association of New Zealand Embroiderers' Guilds many of whom are working the panels for us, support us in this endeavour. We need funding to pay the designers, to provide fabric and threads to the embroiderers who give their time for free, for transporting the panel around the country to the guild members, and for mounting the completed panel. This is a unique way of recording our history for future generations.

This AA car is in the process of being stitched by ladies from the Otago Guild. It is an item on a new panel, the second panel to be stitched by the ladies of the Otago Embroiderers'Guilds.
