TFK bridges the gaps in disaster response to help communities bounce back from natural disasters.
Nationwide
Taskforce Kiwi consists of defence and emergency services veterans with the skills, experience, motivation and grit to help communities recover from natural disasters.
We're not first responders, instead working alongside emergency management agencies and communities, providing skilled volunteer resources to kickstart recovery, helping fellow Kiwi's on their worst day.
While our volunteers give their time for free to help those in need, there are significant costs related to training our team, getting them where they need to be, equipping them with the right tools and PPE, and keeping them sustained on the ground.
Help us get our teams to where they are needed most.

Make a leap for disaster relief this February! 1 February 2024
To our friends and supporters,
As volunteers we give our time for free, but effective disaster relief operations come at a cost. The demand for our services has never been greater, but with multiple deployments currently taking place our resources are stretched thin. This is where we need your help.
We have set a challenge to raise $29,000 by 29 February 2024 as part of our Leap for Disaster Relief campaign. To contribute, go to https://givealittle.co.nz/org/taskforce-kiwi, and use the hashtag #LeapforDisasterRelief.
By supporting Taskforce Kiwi, your impact is two-fold; not only do you support our work in assisting disaster affected communities, but you also directly support our mission to provide a sense of purpose, identity and community to our volunteers, many of whom have dedicated their lives to serving their country and communities.
Join us this February in making a leap for disaster relief. Together, we can continue to build an effective and unique organisation that stands ready to support those who need it, when they need it.
