Kia ora,

We are a community service/hub based in Highbury Palmerston North. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of the Highbury community and surrounding suburbs, by providing free food and clothing to whānau in the area. We receive donations from the community, everything donated to us is given out to the community free and no questions asked.

Our organization relies heavily on volunteers who run our free services 5 days per week Monday-Friday 9am-12pm. The Services we provide at Te Whare Koha Highbury:

Free food, clothing, and homeware

Free community phone

Transport to health and social services

We have a Kaimahi Hapori (community worker) on site to offer Peer support

Help with WINZ forms

Applying for jobs

Writing up CV’s

Support person at appointments

Connecting you to the right support
