  Auckland Family Support

Te Whakaora has a made a deep commitment to the restoration of families desperately in need of a better future - families overwhelmed by poverty, sexual abuse, gangs, drugs and violence. Through our emotional healing courses, whanau coaching, one-on-one mentoring, crisis intervention, advocacy and other supports, the lives of hundreds of vulnerable mums and dads have been dramatically changed.

Te Whakaora has built a track record of exceptional outcomes in our focus area of Manurewa, and demand for our services is accelerating. Since 2010, 400 families have been transformed, eight murders and 20 suicides prevented, 74% of clients are off class A drugs. As result, over a thousand children are growing up in homes feeling safe and cared for.
