The Road Forward helps to support and empower survivors of sexual harm
Wellington
The Road Forward is a charitable trust which provides free peer support services to empower survivors who have experienced sexual harm. Every year, we support more and more people (perhaps like yourself) to access our services.
Here at The Road Forward, we’re all survivors and we all have our own lived experience. Creating meaningful relationships that help us move towards wellbeing is at the core of what we do. The life experience of a peer-worker creates common ground to form a trusting relationship based on empowerment, empathy and hope.
It’s important that our service remains free, so we must work hard to generate funding. It’s the only way we can assure we pay our staff, building costs, utilities, insurance, equipment… but most importantly, being around for our Peers.
So, if you think you can offer financial assistance, even just a small donation, we’d be super grateful.
The Road Forward is a charitable trust. It was formed on 10th August 2015 to provide peer support services to survivors who have experienced sexual harm.
