Think BIG and give a little  5 December 2013

The Big Idea serves over a million people every year. That's a big number. When The Big Idea started 12 years ago, we never imagined that our community would grow to such a scale. We began an innovative journey to serve the creative community that continues to this day. Wefve worked hard over the years - staying focused and lean. But we need your help. If everyone reading this donated $5, our annual fundraiser would be done in an hour. But not everyone can or will donate. Can you help make a difference? Please make a donation of $5, $20, $50 or whatever you can. You can give online through our Think BIG, give a little campaign.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
