Help us support people into employment and lives of dignity and connection!

At Trade School Industries we understand that some people face really big barriers to securing employment and building a good life.

By donating to Trade School Industries, your money will go directly towards supporting people into good, dignified work and developing new employment pathways. We train and support people engaged in the corrections system, those who have been long term unemployed or young people needing a little extra support to get into good work.

BUT - We need to raise funds to pay the salary of our Barista Trainer. If we can secure funding for our trainer's salary we can keep providing support to people in our community.

Last year, our contract with Ara Poutama The Department of Corrections came to an end. This means we are no longer receiving any government funding. We will keep writing emails, knocking on doors and looking for sustainable funding, but in the meantime, we need your help.

We provide training and employment pathways, but we know that skills alone aren't enough for a person to change the course of their life. At Trade School Industries we are committed to building a community of belonging that supports people in work and in life. No matter a person’s history or the current challenges they may be facing, everyone has a valuable contribution to make. We are committed to providing second chances, opportunities, and new possibilities.

Behind our work are hundreds of hours of volunteer time, donations big and small, loads of encouraging conversations, prayers and practical help. We would not be able to do what we do without people behind us, stepping in when gaps appear and helping to keep things moving.
