Trails Wellington is helping to create epic trails that cater to a wide variety of trail users, all within riding distance of Wellington’s CBD. Initially we’ll be focusing on areas such as Mākara Peak, Polhill Reserve/Waimapihi, Mount Victoria, Maupuia and Te Kopahou. Over time we’d like to see some new zones opened up for trail development.

We’ve got plans in the pipeline to build some epic new trails. But there are quite a lot of classic Wellington trails that could do with a bit of modernisation or just some basic maintenance to return them to their original standard.

2% Effective Fee
