Treasured Tamariki is a social enterprise early childhood education and childcare centre in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. We exist to give children a safe, nurturing place to grow, and families the support they need to thrive. One day, our goal is to contribute to the vital work of Mums4Mums Charitable Trust, providing free in-home support to new mums and babies across our community.
Right now, we face a real crisis. After receiving incorrect financial advice, Treasured Tamariki is at risk of closure. We are doing everything possible to stay open, but without urgent support, this vital service—and the jobs, care, and hope it provides—could be lost.
This is more than a centre; it’s a lifeline for local families. Every donation helps keep doors open, staff supported, and children safe. It gives us the chance to recover, continue serving our whānau, and one day give back even more through Mums4Mums.
