Help us to give families access to fresh locally grown produce and to learn basic gardening skills.
Auckland
Teaching is our middle name with our main purpose being to educate people of all ages about food-growing, organic gardening and sustainable living. We offer free hands-on workshops teaching horticultural skills. Our current workshop calendar include topics such as composting, pruning, grafting, and a variety of seasonal small scale sustainable garden workshops.
The food we grow is distributed to our local community of Massey and we support initiatives such as the local food sharing networks, pātaka kai, community fridges, free community dinners, as well as contributing to the family dinner tables of our volunteers and workshop participants.
We are a community garden in Massey providing an opportunity for people of all ages to learn how to grow food using organic gardening principles.
