Update from the Taranaki Safe Families Trust 5 September 2013
We're busy here at the Taranaki Safe Families Trust planning events for White Ribbon Day. White Ribbon Day offers men the opportunity to be part of the solution to ending violence towards women. Violence is endemic within New Zealand with one in three women experiencing violence from a partner in their lifetime, with an average of fourteen women being killed each year by a member of their own family.
