Ugandan Orphan Support

Hi there,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m hoping you can help me, as recently the Richard Tusasibwe, director of Mwendo Needy Children’s project, in Uganda got in touch with me. I’m a friend of their Facebook page and he recently messaged me to ask me to do a fundraiser for the orphanage. They have a website and lots of photographs of the orphans, director and the surrounding area. Although the website does not say they are a registered charity, it does appear to be legitimate. I’m wondering if it would be worthwhile running a fund raiser on givealittle for the Needy Children’s project and is there anything I should be aware of before doing so, so that I can make sure the orphans receive the funding? I really appreciate your help or any guidance you may be to provide?
