Poochie Desparately Needs Help!!! Urgent Surgery Booked Tomorrow Morning !!!
Dear friends and fellow dog lovers,
A few weeks ago, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to close our doors because our capacity was overflowing. Our team has been weary and emotionally exhausted, knowing we can’t help every pup in need. Yet, in a twist of fate, two pounds reached out to us the last week—here is one of the stories that of which has deeply touched my heart: the story of Poochie.
So today Poochie was off to
Our vets and their findings were so heartbreaking !!!Her mouth is rotting the roots of her teeth are exposed and her teethe are green !!! One side of her mouth they could not get into as she appears to have an abscess which may have burst and is oozing out through her cheek !!! It’s dire and they said she needed urgent surgery I wanted to cry as I said goodbye and left her there overnight!!!! This sweet 12-year-old girl was found wandering the streets and ended up in the pound with a mouth in dire need of help. Her teeth are rotting, and she has a painful lesion that burst on her cheek. Despite her suffering, with her rotting teeth and the painful abscess in her mouth Poochie greeted us with a wagging tail, eager for love and cuddles.
Now, we need your help! Poochie requires urgent dental surgery, blood work, vaccinations, and registration/microchipping. The total cost could be up to $2,500, maybe more and we can't do this without your support.
