Training and maintaining a volunteer life guard service that place community service ahead of competition, but actively provides for and supports members looking to test themselves in the competition arena. We foster a strong family and community spirit and welcome ongoing contact with past members and other community agencies.

Worser Bay Life Saving Club was established in 1910 and is NZ's 3rd oldest life saving club. We were involved with the Wahine and more recent DomPost Ferry rescues, search & recovery and are active event life guarding. OUr members were involved with the first successful swim across the Cook Strait.
